Weekend of 10/25-10/26

Dear Church Family,
What an exciting weekend at Trinity Lutheran Church!  It is hospitality Saturday/Sunday, so don’t forget to bring a little something to share with your neighbor.  In addition, we are welcoming 18 people into membership (John Gall, Alvin Benes, Diane Bryant, Joyce Tomasello, Linda Glosson, Ken and Thea Smeets, James Landeras Jr., Patricia Payne, Daniel and Katie Havekotte, Riley Susan and Regan Danielle Havekotte, Schawn and Jackie Flores, Caleb Davenport, Taylor and Ariah Flores) so make sure you join us for the celebration.
Finally, this Sunday, Oct 26th is Reformation Sunday and that means we are having our annual Oktoberfest at Wally and Kaethe Mead’s home from 3pm till 7ish or 8ish.  There will be directions to the Mead’s on the welcome table.  Bring a side dish to share and a lawn chair to relax in and we’ll provide everything else!
Blessings and I look forward to seeing all of you this weekend,
Pastor Marc

Revisions to Trinity’s Constitution & Bylaws

Trinity’s revised Constitution and Bylaws have been approved by the District.  Copies are available at church for anyone who needs them.  A Voters’ Meeting on Sunday, December 14, at 9:30 a.m. will address the revised Constitution & Bylaws, approval of the 2015 Budget, and the election of the 2015 Leadership Team.

The Constitution and Bylaws page (found here or in the menu at the top of this page) contains PDF versions of the proposed revisions and the original document.  Comments are enabled on that page so members may post their questions and discuss the changes.

Weekend of October 11th and 12th

Dear Church Family,
The Longleaf Triathlon is THIS SUNDAY (October 12th)  Since the neighborhood will be inaccessible, all of our worship services will be held on Saturday, October 11th (4:30pm-traditional and 6:00pm-regular Saturday service)
On Sunday, a few of us will be at church around 7:00am to hand out water to the athletes. If you plan on volunteering for the water station on Sunday morning, be prepared to park and walk a considerable distance to get to the church.
Blessings and I hope to see everyone at worship this Saturday,
Pastor Marc
